I found a picture today I really liked, so I decided to turn it into a wallpaper.. It's my first attempt at anything like this (it's not finished yet).

well i use normal pencil(and teh eraser alot ;) )... i used to draw alot with charcoal wich is great!! but not lately now i just draw on little papers with a pen or sometimes a pencil..dont take my time to sit down and draw someting anymore:down: :(

I noticed loads of people complemented Virus on his guns. Don't get me wrong and think that I don't like the guns, but it seems that we're all just typing little things to help raise that old post count up. Good idea. Usually when someone posts a response or a comment, they have something to say about what they are commenting on. all that was written in this case was "very nice" or a few words to that effect. now now now. Don't use my posts as an excuse to go critisising other peoples work and blame me. just be honest. If you don't like it and you lie then it might not get improved and just stay rubbish. on the other hand if you do like it and you critisise it for the sake of it then the creator might get annoyed and delete it. Honesty is the best way.

hmmm... k, I DO know that what I do is good for my age, but I find it, I dunno, kinda immpossible to think what I do is good... sure sumtimes I say I'm good at UT, or I'm good at this, or at that, but I'm always joking... and I try to make that clear... its also harder for me to think what I do is good, because, I have friends, or, well, more like, people I know rather well, that do 3D, and 1 of them ( who is 21 I think ) is around Pixar skill level... ( the people who made Toy Story and so on ) and his father and 2 other brothers ( 17 and -24 I think- ) are also really good at 3D... since I know these people well, and see their work every now and then, I get demoralized, because I find out how actually crap I am... Age isn't the first thing that springs to mind... I know its true, but those are sum reasons...
As for some math involved as well.
None that I've ever come across yet... that 21 yr old d00d I mentioned, flunked outa skool around yr 8 - yr 9 and has been offered a job by sum big company in america... so, no, I don't think there is much Math involved, since I'm prolly allready ahead of where he was when he finished skool..

I've been doing a bit of work on my house today. Added lights etc, and instead of trying to carve the inside properly, im going to make the front windows into portals that go into a larger room with a bunch of junk in there, maybe duplicate it all and make it a ctf, i dunno yet. This map im calling CTF-Floating not done yet though should be tommorow thanks Base for the idea :)
The map is set in space two flags floating on two small platforms
which are seperated by a bridge through space and a small facility orbiting the earth.

Pfff, it's been a long night for me (it's been 4 AM now :bulb: )
But... I re-vamped BasePlace completely. The main reason was I reached the max of webspace I have (5 MB), after adding DM-Rash. So... I made BP a lot smaller (I think the whole site is only 200 kb (minus maps)), but I'm not sure wether or not I like the design (I'll have to check tomorrow, too sleepy now). It's really simple, and most likely only viewable in Internet Explorer.

OK, I have just finished remixing my song The Gift. Here is the story I posted over at T.com with a link to the remix.
Ok, here's the deal.
I was cajoled into bringing my guitar to a party on Saturday night. I played and sang for about an hour and had them eating out of my had
In my long set somewhere, I did my song "The Gift". There were two people there (women) who requested a demo of the song (they said they were both in tears when they heard it). One of them works at one of the large country radio stations here in Nashville and knows quite a few people in the industry. Her comment was instantly after I finished the song was "That's a hit song". The other is throwing a party next weekend and one of her guests supposedly is someone in the music business. I Googled the name she gave me and came up with this. I don't know if that is him, but if it is, and he has some sort of music interest here in Nashville .
Anyhoo, I did another remix of "The Gift". I dl'd Cakewalkd fx 1-3 packages last night and got a big improvement from compressing my vocal a touch and compressing the crap out of (limiting) the overall mix. That ended up giving my about 4 or 5db more output overall and tightened up the mix a little. Hopefully, I didn't step on it too much . Plus the reverb/room simulation gave me a better reverb on the lead vocal me thinks. Anyway, I just burned it to cd so I can listen to it on any number of different devices to get an overall idea of the sound.
I would much appreciate if you guys could dl (it's about 6 meg) and listen, and give me feedback so I can make some final tweaks in the mix based on your feedback and my listening to it on as many different systems as I can over the next day or so. Thanks in advance guys.
Here's the link. I may be tweaking it again, Ill let you know. But if anyone had this saved on a play list its worth redowloading it. It sounds much better.
If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free as well.

This one's much better when it comes to the sound... I can feel my subwoofer is being used now... The only thing I'd like to say about the song is that, at the end (at the ritenuto, or how you'd call it), the guitar is a bit slow compared to the piano and bass, which makes it a BIT messy, no biggy though.

I thought that ticklemonster would be a "sleeper" tag to use in UT. I stink at DM, but do fairly well on ctf, which is my favorite. SO ... I figure that people will see that name and think its a kid or something, then their head explodes.... heh heh heh. I am ticklemonster to my 3 kids, also, by the way, always have been always will ... Just started UT a couple of months ago, and about a week ago, it dawned on me that the cable internet connection might make a cool way to play online. Dude, it is like a whole new world. I have a stinking ball. It really iritates me when I am playing, though, and my head explodes the instant one particular person shows up. I hate aimbots, but I am not sure that it is always one of them, or just someone with their screen res down low, and a steady hand. I sometimes get on a spree and am afraid that someone will accuse me of botting. Oh well. Glad you like the graphic justice.

Welcome Ticklemonster. Good to see another mommy or daddy here (circle the title that pertains to you) ;).
Ive been playing for a little over a year now. Cable is definitely :up: There are a lot of excellent players out there. I consider myself an average player. I can go on a server and own a bunch of noobs pretty easily, then there are other players who own my arse like Im a noob.
I see you are from Georgia? There are a couple of us here in the South US. Krisma is from Georgia and I am in Tennessee. Check out www.lareth.tk for some servers to add to your favorites. Even though Im not playing a lot right now, I spend most of my time when I am playing on-line at the JASCaC #1 (I think thats the right one) server listed on Lareths site. It is a lo-grav, high speed, Instagib server. I see Mr. D there sometimes & Lareth & I used to have some titanic battles there (after I honed my skills by getting whooped by him repeatedly anyway):p
Look for some of us there and come join in some time. Plus if you want, post the IPs of some servers where you hang out at. Im sure some others from hear will find you. ;) Ill keep my eye open for you as well. Ticklemonster will be easy to remember ;) :D

Okay, good to see outher Sotherners (or is it other Southerners?) in there. I am in Rome, smack dab between Chattanoogy and Hotlanta. I am a dad, you think a mom would do that to the Tubbies? By the way, I just redid the picture, go back and look at it. The background resolution is not as good as I would have liked, but I did a lot of cropping to get the perspective the way I wanted it so the characters looked halfway normal (?). I like low-grav instagib. There is this one place that I found in CTF that says *must see* in the name somewhere when you look for online games, and look under ctf (duh), I think the clan is [sdk] or something like that, anyway, it is nonstop carnage. you get 999 ammo, and rapid fire sniper rifle. I am not positive, but it seems like a bot hangout at times, last night was ridiculous, but usually it is okay. I will check out the link, and will keep an eye out, if it don't get put out first.... Will post back with some of my favorites. Just started online gaming a week and a half ago or so, so I only have a couple. Frag ya later alligator.
