There was a slight problem that I fixed now...
When someone visited my website using .tk, they couldnt download the videos, it's fixed now by putting an 'enter my site here' button that links to the actual webspace... I'll shut up now ;)

The head really is great.
But the rest of the skin doesnt or something... maybe it's the combination of the black head with the blue body ... maybe you could do a bit more with the black and white you used in the face...(because that's great imo)

TBH I feel I should add that after seeing the skin in skinmaker and in-game I think the above screenshot does not at all represent it well... I'll make sure another one is posted real soon, cuz, Base, the blue is very very pretty, really, and metal-like. I don't think you want to replace it :p

You can get it here http://www.qsl.net/kf4smu/UTFONT.zip and what it is, is each character has it's own picture, you can edit them as you see fit to make them work on your page (in a banner). So, the school "commisioned" me to make a "modern, digital" Xmas card background that they can use to send out, with an hours notice. The lion en three stripes = my schools crest.

Best I could come up with in the time... Granted I think it looks HORRIBLE for an Xmas card but they loved it... /shrugs

In high school, I was supposed to one day be the next Rockwell. Blah blah blah. Governor's honors and all that. Scholarship offers, blah blah blah. It was when I was exposed to the larger picture (i.e. imho crap that people think is art) that I decided not to persue a career in the arts. Much to my families dismay.... just about got disowned, dontchaknow. That was over 25 years ago, and to this day, I have no desire to do anything creative. I piddle occasionally, perhaps draw something to accompany an editorial column I send in every once in a while, and I did that font thing, but Warhol, et al just ruined it for me. It was like cooking Lobster Thermador (sp?) and everybody decides that they want Krystal Burgers.... Soooooo, my advice to you is to keep at it, and remember, there are billions of flies eating what they eat, that doesn't mean you have to follow the pack. :rolleyes:

ah well, i wanted to make that skinpack i was talkin about earlier but well it's cool to make the skins and show a picture, but to actually zip them and find a spot to upload them to, and then get teh "it doesn´t work" thing is kinda frustrating. maybe...and that´s maybe when my ut2k3skinning gets good enough i will get a skinsite with all the good files and stuff. Found some new (to me) twists lately:

Excessive overkill, spawn with 300 health, and all weapons. The weapons fire at a higher rate than norm.

Co-op, Instead of running around like a madman killing each other, you run around like a madman killing monsters.

Unreal Fortress, still trying to figure this one out.

Given up trying to find people to play against from this forum. And I don't have the time/patience to mess with irc, so you wont see me in smackdown. Don't get me wrong, irc sounds cool, but I don't even use im-ing at all, it is an intrusion of my privacy usually. I had cinci in favorites in eye, but it freaked out, and I had to reload it. BUT, cinci is a bit of a madhouse/fragfest. I like a bit more methodical play, teamwork, that sort of stuff.

Oh, and I finally got Serious Sam 2 to work online yesterday. heh heh heh, wasted all that time. Oh well, ya live ya learn. What a beeeyootiful game, but rather mindless after a while.

anyway, hi Lareth, nice to hear from you again, yada yada yada, you know the routine.... :D

OK, I haven't posted anything creative for awhile. I am starting to get back into my music again, hence the reason I haven't been here or gaming quite as much. So with that in mind here is some fruit of that absence.

I collaborated with a guy in New Jersey who put the instrumentation together and I added the lead vocal. This is not an original, it is a cover of a song performed by Restless Heart in the 80’s. Still a great song IMHO. This also is not a final mix. It is a rough mix, so it will get better, but it sounds good enough to share. The New Jersey dude will be doing the final mix (I sent him a wav file of my vocal track today :D – damn I love the digital age :D) I will start a project to record an original here soon, so stay tuned. :) Enjoy.
