Yeah, that's the problem these days. Too much. Bells and whistles. All the leet gadgets. And the coding on some of the pages is attrocious. We have some sites we need to monitor at all times, and were using a program to do it, and decided to set up on the network so that anyone on the network could enter the url of the main page and access sites from it. WELL, wouldn't you know it, the guy who did the page did it in word, and saved it has html. I have a fast connection, and the page is just links, no graphics, and it took minutes to load. Once it loaded, I saved the html code in notepad, and wrote my own page of links with no garbage; straight clean code; and proceeded to link it to all the people in our office so they could copy it to their desktop. I used Ulead Photo Express SE to do all of it. I'm not big into drawing stuff as I don't have a very vivid imagination art wise. I just don't seem to be able to get a picture of what I want to draw before I draw it if u know what I mean. I just "put pen to paper" and go on from there.

Hey, what program is the easiest to use if I were to want to make a model for skins? ... did I say that right? I want to create my own character, from the ground up. which program has the easiest interface for a total moron to pick up on and use? I have a copy of 3d studio max, and it looks pretty cool, but I have only ever opened it once.

Hmmmm, and I have a brand new 40 gig hd sitting there on the shelf, and a copy of slackware on the desk above it. ...wait a minute... never mind. (I tried to install slackware a year ago, and decided to wait until the linux community gets off of their collective "1337" crown and makes an OS that I don't have to babysit to install before I attempt another linux install... Hey, my time is valuable to me, if they can't make an install as easy as windows, then they are not equal to windows, no matter what they tell themselves. when they get around to that, then I install. as yet, nothing -ux has been as user friendly as windows. and like I said, I got other things to do with my time than to learn some bugger's os)

Ah yes, finer than frog hair. survived the earthquake we had on tuesday, just 27 miles from here, but shook stuff up real nice... the ground conducts seismic waves better over here on the east coast than it does on the west coast, so the earthquakes here are felt over a wider area than in Calif. 4.9 on the scale, not much, but enough that my wife was a tad bit alarmed... don't pay attention to the dodgy glowy looks of the last to pictures... they are to just show you what the thing actually is... I didn't spend much time on these renders to make them look that good, so thats why they look kinda dodgy... and I couldn't figure out why the shadows went all chunky at the edges... but anyway... this isn't finished yet, so yer....
