View Full Version : patch doesnt download- Robot Arena

ok heres what happened i downloaded robot arena from kazaa and then installed it to my computer. after that i went into the trial version and then bought the full game without the cd from robotarena.com.i got the patch from robot arena and when i start the download it says it cant find the original robot arena but i know i have it because ive been playing it,please reply

Um....

The only thing I can add this is that once I downloaded a pirated version of Black and White. It was stupid, I won't do THAT again. It gave me ALL kinds of problems. Mainly the game would crash every five minutes. So I went out and bought the damned thing, but then it wouldn't let me install because of the pirated version, I guess.

I ended up just putting it on the shelf. I reformatted my hard drive recently, and tried reinstalling and hey! It worked.

Moral? Don't download pirated software, then expect it to work flawlessly.

Hi,

Did u solved your problem with the patch?
I also canīt install it.

I got the ***** for the game, but I run it and thereīs sound and all, but doesnīt appear the start menu, please help.

Not trying to be an ass about it, but just telling you that posting about warez is frowned upon around here... Probably much better places to find info about such stuff anyway.

He downloaded the Demo version of Robot arena off of Kazzaa (SP? (but I really dont care)). Then paid about 19 bucks to unlock it using TryMedia.

The patches only apply to the retail CD installed version of the game. They do not apply to the TryMedia version, and there is nothing that we here can do about it.

If you purchased the game less than 30 days ago, get your money back from TryMedia (look at the email you got when you purchased from them) then go to the store and buy the Boxed version and you will be able to apply the current and any future patches.

Obispo- I know, but Drug_Store seemed to be the one talking about Warez. Oh well, whatever. :)

Yup, I realized that after I posted....

But the answer for the original problem is still, regretfully, the same. :(
