Enter the matrix screwed up

Hi,
I have trouble with playing enter the matrix
i have a Pentium 4 1,5
And a g-force 4 mx 440

And if i load the map "The freeway" (seccond part)
Then he exits the game :cry:

dont know.i get the same problem too after playing chasing morp and after playing the vid,the game closes.could try to get a save game from somebody who passed that level.could somebody send it to me or post a link to it?thanks

i have the same problem when loading "chase the truck",if u found the solution plz tell me!

Same problem here I am begining to think it has something to do with Nvidia Graphix cards or Eax drivers I have also tried to run in safe mode problem still there.
I also tried downloading the patch but it says the file is invalid!?! This is not the first patch from atari Unreal 2 gave me the same crap.
Btw I am using a slightly older version of the detonator card but as I have read ppl with upgraded drivers have the same problem.
Finaly the "solution" reinstall win xp and blah blah is simply outragious I am not going to waste so much time for a game.

Are you all using the 44.03 detonator drivers? Try using the older 43.45 or 41.09 detonators.

I had the problem with the 41.09 I still have the problem with 44.03 Other possible problem causes could be windows xp home ed Greek or the Eax drivers. Is ne1 else using win xp non-english version or Eax drivers experiencing the same problem????

Are you all using Nvidia video cards? Have any of you tried the version 43.45 drivers? Do any of you have the patch successfully installed?

My vede0 card d0wnloads it automaticly...
And ive checked the log
There standet: *Failed load subject* Enter the matrix: blablablabla
It is in the game not my card.

I have used both.. 43.45 and 44.03 successfully on 2 nVidia cards...

43.45 and 44.03 on Geforce 2 TiVx 64M DDR ( My old card )
43.45 and 44.03 on Geforce FX5600 TVDR256 ( Newest card )
43.45 and 44.03 on Geforce 2 MX200 32 MB ( Friends Card )
44.03 on Geforce 2 MX400/440 64Mb ( Friends Card )

No problems found on any of these... although (dont know how to write it :P ) some times (rare) after playing for hours, the game closes and go to desktop.


I've installed the patch successfully... but after i reinstall.. cause i didn't like it :P

I'm using 2 Sound Cards . SPDIF CMIxxxx , and Audigy 2 (EAX). The game have no sound at all with Audigy.(I've already tried disabling the 2nd card... reinstalling drivers.. patching ...bla bla bla... Using other drivers it work w/o eax)

that's all i know...

Thanx for the help everyone especially Atari what a bunch of loosers!!!
I ll use my Etm Cd's as coasters for my coffee or I ll try to sell it to my worst enemy.
I ve also thought making copies of the game and distributing it freely but why cause so much pain and suffering to the poor ppl that whould try to play?
See you next time I buy a Atari game although I think I ll stick with pirate copies you see some of us when we pay 50 euro for 4 cds like to get our money's worth EtM was not even worth the street price of 12 euro some guys I know paid.

Some things cant get soulved...
Dont blame ATARI they just doing theyr best with defloping only some freaking mastakes can screw it up.

You'd think that if more than one game was having trouble on your system you might come to the conclusion that there is something mis-configured on your system. Just a thought.

And don't give that BS about "other games working fine" because not all games use the same direct x or opengl commands. I've seen too many peeps on forum use that one, its just another excuse to stay in denial.

And in nederland its more expensive then US dolars. ive bought it for 65€ (just for getting it 1 week earlyer couse i wanted it)
