View Full Version : So what is the ETA on the Real Patch?
Seriously. We got the beta, it was ok and made the game mostly playable. When are we getting the Real Deal? There is still much to fix, as shown in the Bug Forum.
the last candidate for this patch (with everything listed in the patch thread) was sent to QA on Friday.

It's friday, what time is it available and where do i get it.
there will most likely be a link on www.moo3.com and maybe even Atari's support site.
When? When it goes up. Sorry, but that's all anyone knows. That's assuming it does go up today.
*edit* the beta patch was put up during the afternoon California time. I suspect the same for this patch.

There is an post in the official patch thread (http://www.ina-community.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=277756) that says it is expected to be released sometime today.

Does "California time" mean they might not get around to it?:D

I usually hear it called the "Pacific time" zone. I bet the people living in Oregon don't say they are in "California time".:)

Yes, this is true, but again, you fail to grasp the very concept of "california" time... this implies it will be done at the last minute, at considerable expense, due to the fact that everyone that can be bothered to do the project had to be forced at gun point away from the daily lounging by the pool-side, and other frivolous activities. Thus, "california" time is definitely not the same time-reference/frame as the rest of the pacific coast... :p :) :p

Thank you for my edification. Sounds like my kind of place (except for the gun part). If only I wasn't so afraid of earthquakes:(

bleh... seismic activity just adds more fun to the concept of "california" time... and besides, it's not every day they get an earthquake... heck, most parts of cali go years between quakes.

Quakes or significant magnitude are certainly no more common than tornados and hurricanes in other parts of the country.
The patch has been approved as official and should be up around noon PDT. We are coordinating with FilePlanet to get the mirror. Other mirrors will hopefully follow quickly. I will start a stickied mirror thread in GD when we get the first two up.

Please don't obfuscate our discussion of "California time" with facts:)
Thanks for the work on the patch!
I have high hopes this patch will fix many of the things that annoy me about the game (i.e. Spying, etc.) so I give a hearty thank you in advance, with the threat of much *****ing if it doesn't fix many things heh.
Fingers crossed here.

The list of changes is in the last 8 or so entries in the official patch thread (link above). The only spying change I saw was that AI races will no longer prefer spying on you over other AI races.
