Wow, for a while there I thought no one was actually going to respond to this thing... I was all bummed out. But then I just remembered about this thread, so I had a look for it. And people actually said stuff! Sure, it was mostly nonsensical or insulting, but meh... Any reply is a good one, as far as I'm concerned.:) At least, I think so... :confused: Anyway, here's some highlights (and lowlights) from Canada Day...

-Chucking a frisbee (actually several frisbees) around with friends, and hitting a lot of people them. Then some random six year old kid joined us. He had quite an arm, but zero accuracy. So yeah, more people got creamed with the disk. Eventually some guy threatened to call security, so we quit...

-Going to my friends house, getting slightly drunk, and trampolining (if that's even a word). Trying to do backflips and hurting myself... Having some more beer and a little rum, then getting back on the trampoline. Wisely gave that up after a few bounces...

-Then it's off to Quebec for some beer! I only remember little bits of what happened after that. There was a long bus ride, then a lot of walking, then some fireworks, then more beer, then a long bus ride back, then my friend threw up (still on the bus)... Fortunately we had a plastic bag for such eventualities... Then he sat next to me for the rest of the bus ride, causing me a lot of nervousness. Fortunately, I was kind of distracted by the fact that I had to piss extremely badly (probably the worst ever). My other friend was in a similar situation. Then the guy who threw up kept falling asleep on me. And some weird other guy who I didn't know kept trying to sit on my lap. I think he was the most drunk person on the bus. He tried to get the everyone to sing O Canada, but it didn't work to well because, in their drunkeness, around half the people forgot the words... I think the version we sang went something like: "O Canada, our home and native land, true patriot love from far and wide we stand on guard for thee, God keep our land in all thy sons command..." etc. Hey, at least that last part rhymed. ;)

-Then we got to the bus station. Me and my two friends dash off to find a bathroom. We finally get there! And it's locked! So we dash off again and find another bathroom. Which is also locked! So then we settled for a bush. Then we all feel great! Except we miss our next bus, so we have to sit around for 20 minutes or so. So we amused ourselves by betting on whether anyone else would throw up. I betted that nobody would, and amazingly I won.

-And I really don't remember much at all after that. I remember getting off the next bus, walking for a bit, and then the next bus driver dropping me off right at my house, since the bus was empty.

All in all, a successful Canada Day. :up:

Well, it is a long tradition going back, well a few years which involves New Zealanders slinging off at us Aussies regarding the number of sheep we have. Of course this is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black (what a stupid saying, how many black pots and kettles are there?:weird: )There are 4 million Kiwi's and about 50million sheep. Anyway, this has lead to a tradition of exchanging vulgar stories about each others habbits regarding the use of sheep.

There are an endless supply of jokes on this subject, most of which cannot be posted here and the majority of which possibly originated in England and used against the poor misunderstood Scottish highlanders.

Mostly they are just jealous because our sheep are more attractive.:eek::weird::confused::haha:

Just got over the hangover huh Rage?

Glad to hear you had a great Canada Day, mine didn't go so well. I had gotten dragged out to the fireworks with my friends, got there and we decided I should go back to my house (another 2 hours of walking to get there and back, only to find we lost one another) to get snacks, then we had another 2 of walking (6 in total, 1 to get to firework, 2 walking for snacks, 1 walking back to my house, 2 going around) and when I head home alone two guys decided to use me as a stop post and the back of my head as a punching bag. Damn, I don't drink and I would have prefered to have been drunk.
