When I turn on ETM I always have to hit the allow gamma button because it is wayyyy too dark without it. It turns off the check whenever the game is turned off. Gamma is set to 217. Also, everything is greener than it should be. The agents cloths are as green as my tree outside my house. Same with Spark's hair. Can anyone help. My computer specs can be found at

I have replaced the video card with a GeForce Force 128mb card, but an extra 30gb hard drive in, and added 128mb of ram. Thanks for your help.

You can try going into the MAtrix install folder, open Matrixconfig.ini and set the setting manually there...THEN after you saved your changes, right click the file and click the READ ONLY box. Then just launch the game from the Matrixx.exe or make a shortcut to it. Dont ever go back to using the MatrixOptions.exe loader or it may mess up again.

That's a good idea, but what about the green agent?

Hey, if you have a n LCD screen you can use that to your advantage, ive got a CTX LCD screen and i put it on Movie mode and put the brightness, contrast, well nearly eveything except for flesh tone near 100 to get a suitable and usable screen. I think a lot of people have got this prob, i had to do this since whenever i asked the gamma to be put on it never changed. URGH!

To change gamma or brightness in the game you need to click on "reset to default" (or words very similar) everytime you want to make a change and then set the values as you want them. This will probably mean choosing some values, WRITING THEM DOWN, trying them, if they are not good enough reloading the game, resetting to defaults, then tweaking the values higher or lower from the values you wrote down and repeating until you are happy.
When you are happy, as Zalgaddas says, you should make shortcut to matrix.exe and go direct to that, bypassing the options menu. Otherwise, everytime you load the game you will need to 'reset to default' and set the values back as you want them. If you use the normal shortcut and go to the options screen although the values you previously selected will be shown they will not be used until you 'reset' and reapply them.
