I bought the Loopy Landscapes Expansion this evening at my local walmart. The install seemed to go through just fine, but when i went to play it it showed this bar that said initializing and then it died because of some kind of exception or something. I tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling but i am getting the same problem. ANy ideas of what i can do?

There is a patch.

Remember that you'll have to do a CLEAN re-install. This means, uninstall, delete the game folder (C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive), re-install RCT and Loopy Landscapes, then apply the patch.
VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT TRY TO PLAY THE GAME UNTIL THE PATCH IS INSTALLED. Sorry for the all caps, but if you miss that, you'll have to uninstall, delete and reinstall again.

And I am still getting the exception raised - ACcess Violation,.. Error Location: Unknown by Error Trapper

If it said you were already running the latest version, then you have not uninstalled and deleted the remaining files. You need to uninstall EVERYTHING related to RCT, go to the install directory (usually C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive) and delete the RCT folder. Then restart, reinstall both (do not try to play), and then run the patch.
