Hello all you Unreal Tournament Guru's.

Has anyone used UnrealED 2.0 to build their own map?
I tried to build a few rooms last night and failed miserably.
I still need to get the hang of it.
I found a really good tutorial.
Just wondering if anyone else knows of a good tutorial for beginners?

I'd love to build my own map!
Nuff said!

Yes. The best thing for it is practise. My first couple are really crappy but still fun to play on..... But they get better and better as you learn to use UnrealEd, even though other 3d programs would be alot better to use than it, but once you learn a bit about it, you can't really complain that much

I tried once, but failed, totally.

Some people were born to be mappers, others were born to play maps. Guess I'm a map player, not a map maker.

My first map I did entirely all by myself. (http://www.utmappers.com/phpBB2/dload.php?action=file&id=2)

Now one way to learn about them is to open someone else's map and look around.

And please allow me to invite one and all to UT Mappers (http://www.utmappers.com) forum. Some great tutorials, and a friendly atmosphere. We try to be as helpful as we can there. Good links to other places to learn stuff, too.
