View Full Version : Copy Save file un UT

I am going to reformat my laptop but i dont want to lose my game profile and all the work i have done to almost beat it. how do i backup the save file(s) and where are the save files located on my Windows XP Pro Hard Disk

go to your 'ut directory\system' folder. typically something like c:\unrealtournament\system . in there you'll want to save your user.ini.

If you mean the single player campaign, make a backup of your user.ini and all the usa files you can find. These should be in c:\UnrealTournament\ .

we've had this discussion before, but i've no idea what usa files are. the single player ladder is a line in the user.ini that'll look like this:

[UTMenu.SlotWindow]
Saves[0]=1\0\1\1\0\-1\0\-1\0\-1\0\0\M\0\LL|DiscoMonkey
Saves[1]=
Saves[2]=
Saves[3]=
Saves[4]=

i couldnt find it in the search. im a new member so i wasnt around and google was no help

no music master, my 'we've had this discussion before' was directed at fearless. usa files aren't used in regular old ut. it's an unreal way of saving games. if you've installed operation na pali or play unreal in ut, then you may have usa files, but if it's just ut then you don't have them.
