ETM / Audigy 2 = No Sound

I've just got ETM, and i was really excited of know the potential of my audigy 2 card.....
but all i've got.. is no sound at all...
i've read all the post regarding sound troubleshotting.. but nothing work.
Sometimes when i run in safe mode, in some moments the audio comes in... but then it just gets muted...

My system has 2 cards. Audigy 2 Platinum , and CMI (dont know the model) it gets on the a7v333 Mobo (spdif).
The game RUN w/SOUND using CMI card.... when i try audigy.. no sound at all..
i've tried drivers, wmp9, no accel, praying, etc..... but nothing works ( already tried patch 1.52)

I just dont get it...
the game announces Audigy 2 , eax fully compatibility etc etc etc... but it DOES NOT WORK AT ALL... it has been a total deception.

Any hints would be appreciated.....
If nothing happens... the game would know the trash ...

PD : yeah, maybe it runs with the other card... but i was expecting full use of my system.....

That's strange. The patch was supposed to have fixed the audio trouble. Is that secondary card enabled at the same time as the Audigy 2?

Yep..
Both enabled.. but using one as default.

I'll try disabling the secondary ...
Anyways i think that's not the problem. (would be an awful design of the game)
