i agree with you, but my game ran perfectly the first time...why? i dont know...i bought it like a couple days after it came out, i didnt even patch it yet, but ill keep my mouth shut cuz im sure some problems will happen..neway its still playing great only problem is that the game is short...i think most of your peoples problems is with your hardware...not too many of you know that u must upgrade you drivers...but dont blame anything on these guys i mean they made an awesome game i think that just should have been tested on pcs with different hardware so they can make sure its compatible

What's going on is this: EtM is only half of the game. The "ending" is a tack on, a la Sonic The Hedgehog 3, to keep people interested. Why? Because they're not allowed to finish the story before the movies do, otherwise it'll hurt the box office sales. So EtM will get its second half in late October, which will probably be a standalone game. The makers are just too damn busy working on the sequel to bother with a patch... for now. The odds are they will have addressed most of the criticism and will rectify them in the new version, then release a patch to bring EtM up to scratch.

This 'special version' will be for the benefit of all those who don't have the original, and will have the whole lot on one cd (or, please god, dvd). Hate to think how big that install would be!
