Problemas on lan games

When playing lan games, the player get stack every 15 or 20 seconds, can use mouse look but can't run neither walk.
What is it?
Can anyone help me, it's very uncomfortable play multiplayers games. Thanks

what mutators do you have loaded ??

what system are you running ??

Unreal Tournament, with 1,2 and 3 bonuspack and runnig under windows XP.
Once I play without problem but don't know what I do or undo.

Are you running MSN Messenger in the background ? Do you have Windows 2000 or XP ? If so, you can check CPU utilisation with a CTRL+ALT+DEL. If it isn't a problem with the CPU or the bandwidth then is your hard disk is light is flashing at all ?

try setting your ip yourself, that sounds like its dchp trying to make sure its ip is ok also make sure everyone else on the network has done this also. This can also be the problem if your online game does the same.
