NWN Problems

After waiting for the patch to DL i installed it. After installing though a new error decided to keep me from playing. "The procedure entry point _AIL_set_stream_volume@B could not be located in the dynmic link library mss32.dll." Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

From what I've heard, the only way to get this error is if you are using an older (or cracked) version of the nwnmain.exe file. You will need to use the executable that installs with the game if you want to play it, or if you believe you are using the standard executable, try reinstalling the game.

I got the game like the day it came out. Prolly what you mean by older?

If an update didn't go through properly, you might be stuck on an old .EXE file. Try completely uninstalling the game, deleting the old game folder, reinstalling, re-updating, and trying again.

I just bought the game and I am getting the exact same error... I've installed it 4 times already and I'm pretty fed up. What's the deal? I updated all my audio drivers and codecs, I installed the 1.62 patch, and it's a legit copy of the game. What the!?
