Always running

Took about 10 days, but I finally got an answer from Atari tech support on my Why-can't-I-walk-in-ETM question. The answer was, "If you are using the keyboard or a digital controller that does not emulate analog information, you will always run." (How silly of me . . . I should have know that!) Now I really need help. Someone please tell me what that means and what I can do about it, if anything. :confused:

It means unless you're using a Joystick, you cannot walk in Enter the Matrix. We're sorry for the trouble.
