It’s that MAGICAL time of year.

Translation: The wife is out of the house and out of the state!!!

So the OFFICIAL next date of a Maccy Lan is….Friday August 1st thru Monday August 4th, 2003. The following people have come to the Home of Mashadar b4 & are MORE then welcome to stop by again….

The following get a special invite…

All current & past members of Mashadar including (but not limited to): Sett, Blast, Gand, Strider, M’fail, & Shem.

I’ll withhold a couple of spots for SPECIAL INVITES but y’all are welcome. (We even arrange for Newark NJ/NY airport pickups)!!

So come 1 come all, bring the wife & kids, bring the g/f or b/f’s. Hell even bring your parents ;)

We'll prob get a keg (or 2) have a BBQ & maybe play some WOT :P

It depends on how much they drink.

Oh no, Gand if you bring the wife, I'll let ya have the guest room (appt). I live in a mother/daughter home. As in there are 2 floors and a fully finished basement. The basement is devided in 2 parts, 1 part being an Apt (as in a Kichen, Dinette, Living Room, Bath & Bedroom). It's pretty sweet!! And since I got rid of my wifes best friend who used to live here, I entertain down there (bar & dartboard & move in the cardtable for da boys).

Again, anyone who is interested shoot me an e-mail & I'll give ya better directions/location of my home and you can see if it's do-able.

Well if I don't get much interest I might BAG Maccy Lan and take my 4 day weekend and go visit Loco or something!!

I think the VA lan made peeps blow thru a couple of $, and it's understandable that it's a rough ride for those who came a LONG way to do again.

The only thing I can offer is a house (so no Hotel fee). Apos, Loc, and some other can attest to the fact that we have fun, and 4 days is too short to spend around such wonderful Baggins and Proudfoots :P

There are many factors.

1. The brand of beer
2. What i have to do the following day
3. The weather
4. If it's just me or I'm with others
5. The time of day (morning or later).
6. What i ate the night b4, & plan to eat (if anything) later.
7. If there is a place to go pee pee close by.
8. If there is an activity: horseshoes, volleyball, softball etc

The most I ever drank non stop (in a NON-keg event), is prob around 30-40 (8 oz) beers.

Well my summer vacation is sort of 'full' with all sorts of WoT related things (LANs) already, and in between I'll be working to make sure I can actually attend them. Still, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the invite. :D

Due to the lack of rsvp's This Year's Maccy Lan is cancelled. :(

We'll just have to plan something for NEXT summer and get the info OUT there in a more timely fashion.

There are a couple of hotels, close by and maybe I can convert the basement into a Lan-area (or check with the local places to rent a room a'la Virginia [without a 20% charge]).

Do I need a passport to get into & out of Canada? ;)
