lag over the internet

wen i eventually manage to play unreal tournament over the internet the lag is really bad even wen i am in a game where the ping is low. cud anyone pls help me out :up: :)

make sure you have your netspeed set right
I think you can hit tlide or tab and type netspeed=10000
Also the more firewalls your system has the more its gonna lagg
Its like trying to get out of a door with 3-4 deadbolts on it compare to none.
Um you might need a better card tho if that isnt the case.
