As of last Friday, he was still having d/c problems, I tried to get on and was dropped a couple times, after I restarted cause UT was dropping me to the desktop! :mad:

Hi Lareth.
I'm going to try to run the server next friday (Aug 1st.) Unfortunately I'm stuck using cable and my upload has been having wild swings from 340 upload to a low of 50. So we would play for awhile and then every one would get booted because of the upload drop. :( I've tried complaining to road runner (the cable co.) but in this area they are the only game in town ( for now) so my complaints fell on deaf ears. Plus road runner doens't like the idea of me setting up the server in the first place. I told them it was only on friday nights and besides, I paid for the service and if it's not immoral or criminal what I do with it is my business! :mad: So, I don't know how well it will work this friday night either. One thing for sure though, I, Gev and fluff sure miss you guys hopping on for a great game of UT. Cya
