I am haveing a problem not covered in any faq or trouble shooting.

The game is installed fine. When I go to run it. I just get a blank white screen. I can hear sound but thats it...
Whats up?

Specs:
Amd Thunderbird 1.4 ghz
600 odd megs pc 133 ram
20 gig hd, 6 gigs free and windows is set to handle page files.
Gf FX 5200 Ultra with 44.03 drivers which are the official current version from nvidia, which my card manufacturer has linked.
SB audigy platnum


I have reinstalled the game, and direct x 9, and also the nvidia drivers.what should I do next?I also now have the latest Motherboard bios, and the latest sb audigy drivers.. Still white screen with sound. All my other programs run without a hitch.

Ok this makes no sense. I lowered and then raised back to full the hardware acceleration slider, now the game runs, but not full screen. It runs in a corner at the default res without going full screen. My desktop is 1600x 1200x32, but that doesnt matter because it does the same thing when I lower the res. is just smaller still. lol Wow, this is weird.. Help please, someone...

Here are my current dirx.ini configs ingame... is there a way to change settings from within the game? And I notice if I have SelectedDirectDrawDriver=0

srt to one, either or. It will do the ****e screen thing. So is it running in software or hardware. This is pissing me off. I should known better, I had a lot of trouble with monopoly 2003 as well....

Just noticed, with this configureation I am getting some graphics defects as well.

Now changed the settings to this and it works pretty good...

only problem is actually getting into the menu via the "esc" key during game play, its near possible. you have to hit it 3 times to get it to stop where you can "quit" 2 times is on off, 3 times is on off on. works. if I hit it only once it does nothing. And I cannot escape if there is any animations going on in game. only at a point where the action stops... I also cant tell if I am in softwear or hardware mode, and how to change it..Now, Can I get paid for beta testing, and debugging this game? I have done most of the work here. Lol. At least for my configureation, if anyone else has trouble give it a try...... PS .... Please patch this buggy peice of software, or at least figure a better way and stuff... oh ps, the game runs like crap unless you install the videos from the cd onto your hd. Then it will be the best I can possibly make it.... Thanks..
