Flash's Servers Outage

Just to let you guys know, later on tonight, my servers will be up and down. I got an upgraded DSL line, and now I need to "tweak" the connection (actually more things need to happen, which I will not include in the post here). Just be advised just in case things go down on you while you're on one of the servers.

Got some of the bugs worked out, but still not getting the 3M speed I'm supposed to. Probably expect some outages later tonight as well. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ok guys...found the problem. It's my router! :cry: It seems that either the NICs or the processor won't support the new 3M speed. :cry: :cry: :cry: So I'll be replacing the board with a 233Mhz K6 and adding 2 PCI nics. This will happen on Friday, so today and Thursday, please feel free to use the servers as I won't be doing any work on them. :) I'll keep you guys posted after the upgrade on Friday.

hmmm .... maybe this will take care of the lag problem? Then I'll be able to play! :woot:!

I think the lag problem should be corrected now. At least on my end. My DSL provider is having some problems, so it might not be perfect yet. But right now I'm seeing 50ms pings or less where they used to be 100. :)

Hey Flash, What's your upload and download speed?

3M/484K now! :D I'm really happy with it, and the pings even got lower, some servers I ping in the low 30's to now. :)
