~Help me out~ EAW

I dug up European Air War from my closet and after installing it and then trying to play it it gives me this error: D:\eaw.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I have Windows XP and i was wondering, is there a place that i can get a patch that the game works on XP?

One possible cause for that error is degridation (sp?) of the CD.
If the cdrom can't read the disc properly then you may see that error. Got anothe comp you can try it on to see if its the disc or not? Maybe a friends?
