Please tell me what could be wrong with this file that it always freezes here. I already changed the disc with the store i got it at thinking that i might have been a damaged disc but that was not the case. PLEASE HELP ME!

If you swapped discs out already and it doing the same thing still, then its not the game, it's your computer not able to perform the requested operation. Best things to start doing are narrowing the possibilties that can potentially cause a problem like this.
This is what I would do.

FIRST, I would go to Start, Run, Type MSCONFIG and hit enter.
Click on SELECTIVE STARTUP, Under the general tab.
UNCHECK Load Start Up (group) items.
Then click the START UP TAB at the top right, make certain nothing is checked.

[If you have Windows XP there is an extra step.]
[Click the SERVICES tab at the top and CHECK "HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES" at the bottom of the page. It's below the white box, not in it. Now click Disable All at the bottom right.]

Now hit OK, and then RESTART.

Once your computer is restarted, click START, RUN, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, then DISK CLEAN UP. Select you hard drive if it asks, then it will scan your drive and may take a bit. Once done, make sure the Temporary Files checkbox is checked and click OK.

Next clear out your Windows Temp folder. To do this, open MyComputer(double click it), Open your C: drive (or the drive Windows is installed on), now scroll down to your Windows or WinNT folder (whichever you have) and open it. Then scroll down to the TEMP folder and open it. Click EDIT at the top left, then SELECT ALL. Hit the DELETE key on your keyboard and click YES to confirm when it asks if your sure. Close all the windows on your screen, you should be sitting at your desktop now. Try installing it again.

If it fails this time, Talk to your computer manufacture and ask them to help you update your IDE Controller. Then try isntalling again. If it still not working, contact Atari TS.

too many programs could be running during instalation so you run out of virtual memory to continue the instalation
