Cursed!

I went to SFMW today. I was in line for Medusa. It breaks. I go to Roar. It breaks. I leave the park, and look back and see all of them working just fine!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:





Anyone else cursed?

O.K. I'm cursed on some rides also. At SFAW (When I was like 15) I go to Viper. Get to where I'm at the gates, next train is mine. It shuts down. Opening time unknown. I get out of line and go to Batman, all the way across the park. Look back and see Viper running with people! So I go back over there and get to the exact same place, next train is mine. Breaks once again. So I go to get on XLR-8 and it is broke to! So I look back and Viper runs once again! I said hell with it and just rode Serial Thriller.

Nah more like a bad coaster day. It could happen anywhere. But just in case do not go to a park when I am there please.

I'm usually lucky with coasters, but I know its really that God is with me. For example, I went to Busch Gardens, Will. and got in line for Big Bad Wolf and the next train is mine. Now, I'm there with my friends and we want to ride together and after a few calculations, we figure out that I'm one train ahead of my friends. So, I let the couple behind me get in front of me. So, they go on the train and it departs. Just after that, we get a message from the ride attendants that its broken. That couple got stuck on the second lift hill all day.
Another example is when I went to Dorney Park like 2 weeks ago. I was getting in line for Lazer when all of a sudden out of nowhere a whole group of people started getting in line in front of me. There were like 50 of em. So I end up somewhere in the middle of the line because before all these people came, the line was empty. Turns out that after those people in front of me rode, they got stuck on the block brakes before entering the station.

My bad luck story? Here we go. For some odd reason, everytime I go to Cedar Point, it always seems that TTD isnt working.... go figure :D

hey thats cold!! lol everytime i go TTD works.. *looks around* ok so its broken down half the day!! but its up!! anyways, last wed i went to CP and right after i got off TTD i went to go on MF.... it was down.... went to go on raptor... it was down.... Mantis was up, but only after it was broken down half the day, when i went to go on Snake River Falls, i watched it break down when i was goin to the line... i began to call it the curse of the Top Thrill Dragster... seems Draggy over there has become a black pit of break downs, and is expanding :cry:

Forgot the name of the newer one at 6 Flags over Texas (Goliath? Titan?) I was on the ride the day before somone got killed on it.

Well, you actually were not cursed. You were lucky, so I don't think that should count as bad luck because you actually had good luck. (/me looks confused like this: :confused: )

Mine wasn't a coaster. It was the Stunt Drop at Carowinds. Got in the seat, lowered the horsecollar, and sat, and sat, and sat, unable to move except my legs, and here it turns out two employees were having a fight and so ignored all their passengers who were trapped. After about 10 minutes, I realized I was beginning to have a panic attack due to being pinned behind that harness. I never get panic attacks. Didn't wait in line forever for something to break, but it sure ruined my day!

The first two times I went to Disneyland It's a Small World was closed for Christmas renovation. Then I went back a couple of years ago and found out that I wasn't missing much, but I went on the Christmas edition of the ride.

Yeah, I probably should have, but my nephew was there and I was trying to act macho. :D

I really wanted to tell the park management what I thought about being pinned down by their employees, but we had to go home after that ride, and our travel time made it impractical to beseige the park office for an hour. Next time I'll have a friend or family member watch just outside the ride and take action if needed.
