Hey, i'm totally new to this, so i could use a hand if anyone gets a sec to help a poor schmuck like me out.
I was wondering 3 things:
a) is it possible to scale down polys to a smaller size without having to delete them all and start over?
b) how the heck do you delete a poly?
c) is it possible to move polys after you're subtracted or added them?
thanks to anyone who can give me a hand :)

Yes yes yes....
I forget if there's some obvious and blatant way of re-scaling a brush but I know vertex editing works. The points where the lines on the brush intersect is a vertex (it'll be a little dot.) I think there's tutorials on vertex editing somewhere around here, but you just hold down alt with the vertex selected and move it around.
You cannot delete a single poly, but I think you mean brush anyway. You wouldn't want to delete a poly. Click on the brush and hit delete, or right click on it and hit delete. Make sure you aren't selecting the red (builder) brush, but the actual added/subtracted one. Rebuild (F8) and make sure you do geometry etc and not just BSP/Lighting. After rebuilding it will no longer appear in the rendered view.
Of course. Hold down control and drag, I think. Something like that, yeah.

I hate vertex editing, I always do it wrong and get BSP errors
