why can't I deploy???

Suddenly, at about turn 220, my Create Ground Transport, Deploy Taskforce buttons are greyed out so I can't use my ships. Any idea what causes that?

Did you lose your imperial seat (or MOB center) to spies?

if I happened to have blew threw my sitrep and missed a spy taking out my mob, how could i verify that?

By turn 220, it's likely that you have several MOB centers constructed (unless you're running some kind of extreme tech slowdown MOD). None-the-less, even with your Imperial Seat destroyed, you should still be able to deploy ships around your original system.

Pressing "B" on the galaxy map will make a gray pentagon appear over all systems which contain MOB centers, so you can see at a glance where you have/used to have them constructed.

Note: If you see a system with a darker-gray pentagon, that indicates the existence of a MOB which belongs to another empire, so you cannot mobilize forces there.

If you see a light-colored pentagon, and you STILL cannot deploy ships in that system, then you should probably head on over to the Bug Reports forum to see if it's happened before.

If I had to guess, your mob was scrapped / you moved your emperial seat of government.
