ok. this place is really dying. we gotta do summert cuz this IS THE UTMF. this place is where the name is. this is THE Unreal Tournament Matches Forum. if only for that reason should we make an effort to keep it alive.

The only reason it's dead, is b/c people can't follow the rules and then get mad b/c they get punished. Life is full of rules, and if you don't follow them, you get punished (prison, drivers license taken away, etc). Some people just want to get away with everything!

:shrug: It's their playground, they can make all the rules they like. Personally, I don't seem to have had any problems with the WL system.

Dan, it's just like real life man. Rules are EVERYWHERE! You speed, you pay a fine. You park where your not supposed to, you get a fine. You steal, you serve time in prison. You kill someone, you server time in prison. You possess drugs you serve time in prison. There are always rules, and although you might not believe in them, you still have to obey them. Think about these rules being practice for real life!

It's not so much that the rules are rubbish, it's just that the admins etc are too willing to give out points. like I got my 2 for "double posting" even though there was more than 25 hours between the posts.

I don't think the main reason why most UTMF left, was because of the WL rules/nazi mods,:confused:they don't really come into play in this part of ina.

Am I wrong?

The reason we left is because t.com is better, it's just that simple, I know I like t.com better because it loads faster, sigs, postcounts & more freedom.

Better?? I would say that I think this forum is better. I don't like the look of t.com at all. The ONLY reason I visit there is because most of the people I know visit ONLY there.

Loading Faster - I haven't seen that. On my home machine Ina loads faster than t.com

Sig pics - to me, they are just bandwidth wasters.

Post counts - to me that is just worthless. Why should it matter who has more posts than someone else, message boards shouldn't be a competition.

More Freedom - What does this mean? I haven't seen a lack of freedom here!

These are my personal opinions though, and is NOT intended for an attack on you or t.com. No hard feelings ok?

There's an option which turns sigs off, if you want.(also an option too turn avatars off..)

It doesn't matter who has more posts then who ever eles, it's not about that, to me, I just like seeing how much of a life people have without having to open another window.

It just feels tighter here, I wouldn't be comfortable creating some of the threads that are at t.com, at ina.

w3rd up. Sigs only kick in for one post per thread (smart idea), and look at the stupidity surrounding PCs. And INA (oops, Atari) loads up here just fine, too

LMAO! I know wat ya mean preach. it's almost as weird as my dad saying "gutted" and "sound" all the time recently. he never use to say it and it's just weird cuz he's nearly 46 and it's just weird.

oh ye, preach, this place loads way fastr on my comp too. t.com is slower by far. dunno why. but I like the look of that place. the sig pics is better imo, not fussed on the post count but the whole having to reach 1000 for a custom avatar and 3500 for a ct is just ott to me.

-Faster server
-Sig pics
-More smilies
-Better mods
-Attachments

Yes, t.com has its share of trolls but most of the people there are really cool. And it's nice to see the old ones I met here when I first joined INA.
