Cannot Play

Anyone else getting a ton of Equip item...does not exist messages and crashing. I haven't been able to play this game at all yet. I can only connect using the debug button and even then it is only for a few minutes. I cannot use the release button at all, it just says it is patching but nothing ever happens. Any ones else feeling these woes?

Well, it is a beta test, so its bound to have its problems. If you haven't already done so, report the error you're getting so it's resolved. I mean, that's what we're here for, right? :D

But.. I wish you luck. Stinks to not be able to play it.

yea it does really stink im right there with you. its been three days since I was excepted.

I have the game downloaded and installed I have my CD key and im registered, but when I click "release" or "debug" I get problems and cant go any further.

I think this should be one of there top issues...Making the proccess of getting into the game easier. Make a launch pad and run the game through that instead of a browser. The reason I say that is because internet explorer is what is giving me these problems and thats the only way to run the game. I tried to uninstall IE then reinstall IE, but IE6 says durring the installation it hasnt passed the microsoft logo testing and the installation will not continue.

Anyone know how to turn off this saftey measure so I can reinstall IE6 to try to get Horizons to run?

Have both these bugs been entered into the bug area on www.betatests.net ?

For the launch issue everyone who is getting this should attach a dxdiag of their system so that we can try to work out the simularities that are leading to this error.
