Do we have to live in the USA to enter the Horizons beta test?
I am in Australia and I thought I heard somewhere that we could not go in the beta test.

I'm not really sure, but I know they're going to be starting a Europe Horizons Beta test soon, so it might be true for the current beta testing going on for it.

im from europe/germany and my beta account was approved yesterday for the european beta...

im sorry that i dont know for australia :-(

but i read something that all beta testers also receive a beta cd by mail (in case their internet connection is too slow to download 700MB). im not really sure if they would sent cds by mail to australie for an american or european beta..

are their plans for an australian beta?

hmm just read some disturbing news - Europeans won't be able to play on american servers - locked out by cdkeys.
So my question to the Techs is - where do Aussies fit, if at all?
Are we Euros or Americans???
Do we have our own server?
Can we beta test?

I doubt there are many Australians in. As said, they pick them by location. USA includes Canada and the US, and Europe includes several European nations. Unfortunatly, I don't believe that Australia falls into either. Sorry.

Pyros is correct... To my knowledge to date only the US and Canadians were accepted into beta...

With Europe starting it's own in short time.

Australians are welcome for the US beta test, but there's really no gaurantees as to how their connection will perform connecting to the US servers. If you are in Australia and would like to help out, it's the same for U.S. folks, just send betatestadmin@atari.com an e-mail letting them know why'd you'd be a good choice.
