game control problem

Alrighty, I hadn't played my game in awhile so i decided to play it and I couldn't move fowards or backwards.....i went to controls and set the controls to default and when i pressed the up arrow on the keyboard to move foward, it just made me look up....even the shift button that is made for walking made me look up....i can only move sideways and it's pretty annoying.....someone help me on this one please....thanks....

Try turning mouselook on. This may or may not help.

And if not, re-assign your forward/backward keys to some other buttons, and come back and tell us if it works then with those new keys.

tried other keys for moving foward and backwards and that didnt work....my mouselook was already on so i turned it off and i could move foward if i push the mouse foward and vice versa but shouldn't there be a way to get it back to where i could move by the keys? it was a lot easier that way then pushing my mouse foward....i even reinstalled the game but that didnt do any good...

ok got it working somehow.....don't know how, but it just started working again......weird huh? well thanks anyway:D
