I'm wondering because I signed up for beta several months ago when I learned that the signups were open on the official Horizon's page. Funny thing is, I signed up for the beta those several months ago, and a couple months later I recieved a mail saying my application was accepted into their system. At first I thought it was an acceptance to the beta, but was only an acceptance to the application. Bleah.

What's the deal with that? Does the team accept and put in applications by hand instead of having an automated reply thanking you for registering?

But anyways..... Today, in my email I recieved the Gamespy network daily news mail and it said that the Horizon's beta test began, I assumed today, even though it didn't specifically say when. And it provided a link to www.europe.istaria.com.

And I have not recieved a mail for acceptances into the beta.

Anyone help me out here, please?

Beta for the European Horizons started recently. Also, the betatests.net system apparently must have selected candidates from the pool of people who signed up, selected some to progress to the next pool, and sent them e-mails informing them to sign up for the beta in greater detail. It's probably still pulling names out of that beta pool for testing.

To make sure Europe was convered we set up a seperate beta test and opened it up the the Europeans.

The US beta test has been going in some form for about 2 months. However it has really taken off in the last month of so.

Last information I have is that the European Beta for Horizons has not yet started.

A member of the Horizons Mystics (http://hz.mystics.de) Team rechecked with AE and the answer was "no".
