The Death of Nali Beef?

Well guys, I'm still having problems with bandwidth on the Nali Beef server. I have one more setting I'm going to try this coming friday night, but I think the problem is IP bandwidth and the amount of new subscribers in this area. So if I cann't get it to work the next time I'm giving up on running my own server. Atleast until I have other IP provider choices in this area. Right now road runner is the only game in town ( which really sucks). :sour:

Sorry to hear that Jimmy. Had alot of fun playing with you and your crew. You can always just hop on a server and play with us. Some of us play together nearly every night. If you like I will give you the IP's that I and some others frequent;)

:up: Hey Core, I work with kaffiene kid and he's hopped into the Brooklyn Brawler on occasion and found you in there. I'll check to see if you're in there some time. What other servers do you visit? It's always a great game when you're around. :D

lol I recall seeing him there once--he was doing some warm-up games to get ready for matchs with you;)

I also play DM at UTK Bastion server on a regular basis. Please visit the website for IP/Password as well as how to play on the server. It's a different game there and if you arent familiar with it you can look really bad just stepping in there. I suggest spectating a few maps to get a feel for it.

I also play at the |EZ| Wazu's server. Tend to have some really skilled peeps there.

CTF - I no longer pub ctf. I will occasionally play at the BBR server - but only a map or so a week at most!!! I will only CTF in PUG's or inner clan now. (Got tired of the ****ers that play in CTF pubs!)

Jimmy find me on irc sometime and we'll hook-up for some games. I have access to a cple of servers now so we can still get in that 1v1 if you would like:up:

dam! tis a shame to see the nali beef going south. i've had one or two of my best games there. not forgetting the CTF game at eternal cave where myself and Lareth totally owned.

Hey ttlasskkr, it's good to hear from ya. I'm still going to set it up this friday night and try one more time. I'm trying the settings of netspeed= 5,500 and tickrate= 25 and hope for the best. I keep checking my upload speed and it seems to be any where from 240 to 360. So I'm not sure what the problem could be with uploads like that. My settings should allow for 5 players from the internet. Well, hope to see you guys this friday nigth. And yes, you and Lareth did own that game!:up: Job well done. And of course "The Core" could own every game but, being the scholar and gentlemen that he is, he knows when to take it easy on us poor saps.:haha: Which we do appreciate.:up: I'll check out the UTK Bastion website so I can join ya there for some games Core. :p :haha: By the way. What is their website address?
By the way ttlasskr you are a heck of a player to hold your own when your ping is so bad. It must be very frustrating for ya at tiimes.

yeah it is kinda frustrating at times. still I'm not bothered. really sorry to say I can't make it this friday. I'm off on "Wing Training" with the ATC at RAF Sealand all weekend. also means I can't go to a biking comp I wanted to enter. and I reckon I coulda waled away with at least 3rd in that. anyhoo.

Well Tanj, you could have if I could have gotten the server runniing last night. I just cann't beleive the run of bad luck I'm having. I couldn't get the server to go online and I don't know why. Everything's the same except the netspeed of 5500 and tickrate of 25. I just don't understand what's wrong with it. Sorry guys, I guess I have gremlins in my sysytem (oh well, that's better then in my shorts). I'll let you know if I get the problem taken care of.:(
