View Full Version : why has Atari beta Forsaken me???

Ok, last week i was accepted via email to Horizons. Wow, i was so excited. i nearly died in happines because i had been waiting months....to test this game, and niow i finaly got the chance. so with anticipation...like most, i went and to my www.betatests.net account and nothing...not a trace of Horizons information to be found..the only thing i saw was the Horizons beta pening...i swear it...i cried. why did this have to happen...i got the acceptance letter but no cd and it still says i am pending....i sent a letter to whover's email i could find on the site but so far nothing as turned up...If any admin is on can you please help me?

E-mail betatestadmin@atari.comexplaining your situation. They're pretty good about things like this, am I'm sure they'd be willing to help.

i did twice in a 4 day period...still...nothing. i am sooo sad. i wanted to test it before i baught it.

Don't forget, they're probably busy from the load generated over the weekend, and repairing the servers, so it may take a bit longer to get a response.

that might be so. they muight have accepted me and then by error it got reset. man i hope..hope...HOPE! they fix it and i get ihn to the beta. speaking of...to all whome got in?? is it the best game ever?

I noticed a similiar situation. when I went to login, it read "You have no active assignments." I went to "edit my profile" (to cap the first letters in my name) and, on the top, listed the game test and cd key info. I am not part of Horizons beta test team. But have to admit its a similiar situation. Must have something to do with what Pyros posted (about the server).

I'd probably send em a quick email, forwarding your acceptance letter just as additional proof reguarding it, and see what they say. Someone, I'm sure, can help you out. The guys at Atari are good guys. :)
