What is the command for terraforming? I do not have the manual for the game, and I have not been able to figure out how to terraform. Thanks.

First you must build a terraformer. Then select it, keep the right mouse button pressed over a planet to terraform, and two icons should appear, one of them says "terraforming" I guess that's enough. :)

Can the planet be populated, or must it be uncolonized? Thanks.

I think it must be unpopulated, but that's infact a good question. I think though it has to be unpopulated.

Yes, it's has to be unpopulated. I1ve tried without it, but nothing happend
