Servers Down??

Just wondering if its just me, Last night and today i have checked to see if servers were up because i wanted to play but there are no servers up? Are they down for everybody or is it just me?? just 2 days ago i downloaded the game from the site, so the second one form the top not the patch but full game, so i think im uptodate because the patch is for people who have the old version.

Also i was thinking of hosting a server once in a while and was wondering what ports you have to have open to host, because i have a router.

Unfortunately, you may want to try posting on Tazoon (Sp?) for this one. Almost everyone in here, assuming this is a Horizons Post, are the people still waiting to get into the Beta ^^.

Ok, that's a kinda frightening thought.

The server's are down pal :) The world is coming to an end. We're all going to perish in binary-heck.

Due to the Isabella hurricane going on, some servers may be down. For example, XMP servers may be down because Legend may be effected by the power outage.

like the news thing said right next to where you log in, Dawn and Twilight were down for maintence. I'm assumeing that during the Load test on spirit, it went down because it coulden't handle the load it was being tested with. They all seem back up to me now.

as for the hosting, i doubt they'd let you. i've not yet seen a pay to play game that freely allowed players to host servers. because, if they did, then they'd sure have a hard time making players pay to play. But heck, if they do allow it, i'd jump on that chance. i've already got over a year of experience hosting game servers on a spare computer 24/7 with barely any downtime at all.
