Just a reminder that threads which discuss specific details of a game which only betatesters should know are violating the NDA, and will be deleted without warning. We want you all to be able to get the help you need when betatesting, but this forum is public and details of games should not be discussed here.

We realize that there are some hurdles in getting set up with a betatest when you begin, but please keep all questions either on the game-specific forums, or direct them to betatestadmin@atari.com, who will either be able to assist you, or can direct you to the support team for the games in question. It can be frustrating trying to get set up when beginning a test, but Atari must be sure that details about these games, no matter how insignificant they may seem, are not made known to the general public or the press.

That said, there are a lot of very helpful people who frequent these boards who are very knowledgable about general betatesting questions, and their help is certainly appreciated (and who also seem pretty good about cautioning those who may be violating their NDA). So please stay on topic and be sure to post game-specific questions in their proper place.

Thank you.

It's good to see that some action is being taken towards this. Testers, read the NDA. It may not even allow you to mention you're in the test. Therefore, using logic, you can't say what you think of the game, or how it could be changed in the public.

Betatestadmin, would it be possible to submit a request that when someone posts in the Beta Test section, it displays a warning in red text above the new reply box reminding users not to disclose any information that could break an NDA, regardless of the game?

Not that I'm aware of, but that is a good idea.
