This is sooo sad.... i got my email with my cdkey for the Unreal 2 Mp beta.... but i log in and try to download the installation file and i get a dead link... the only file i can seem to get is the newest update.... can someone plz help me out....

I got my access yesterday, and I am also receiving a dead link. The file is either in a different location or has a different name than specified in the link. The mixed upper/lowercase of the link might be the source of the problem. Anyhow, I want my digital crack!

I got my cd-key yesterday and logged in went to download the program and it keeps telling me page not found however I can download the patches...HELP

Until the link comes back up, which I don't forsee happening immediately, you can copy the url of the latest patch, and take out the file name to view that folder. Copy every item in that folder to your hard drive and run the old version installer first, then every patch in order. It takes a little while, but it'll get you up and running with the latest version. (and yes the patches are on a different computer than the installer listed in the downloads section, so don't just reply saying you already tried this, because you couldn't have, or you'd be testing the game right now)

Betatestadmin has provided us with an answer. Due to the large number of users that have recently got in betas, the server is full and refusing new connections. Try periodicly for your best chances to get in.

Click, press back, click, press back, etc. til you get in. It'll take a maximum of 1 minute.

I had a similar problem. I put the download URL in GetRight and it said Server Busy, so I just left it, came back 20 minutes later and it was 1% done.

I bypassed all the problems by taking down the info when it tried to connect, then used an ftp programe to access the files I needed.
Yes I'm now playing it.

Did you guys even read what I said? You don't need GetRight or any FTP programs...
