hello everybody I do a new channel at Brasnet.org for us to play impreium galactica, and I'll need some help to administate this channel. I join at channel
every day (I hope) 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM
and 01:00 Am to 04:00 AM.
I'll wainting for everybody.

Hello everybody, well sorry 4 Portuguese reply, but every body can speak another language can do 2 reply: one english and another in owners native language, this way everybody can learn others languages, will be funny.

about how to configure IG2 when u come a multplayer game menu shows the follow irc addres in the locate of the irc.imperium... u can put irc.brasnet.org:6667 or any onother irc server address, the Imperium galactica irc is same any irc script , same commands, if anyone need a help I can do a FAQ. well I'll do a Faq and put in my site this weeak, when this FAQ will be ready I'll put the URL in this forum.

hello folk, ive see that nobody undestand what I do. well let me try explain.
I do (open) a irc channel at irc.brasnet.com.br called #imperiumgalatica, I do this to us playnig there, isent a popular irc channel, it's 4 us, only us, but if we join to that channel and call another player (we cant - try - found then).or maybe all of us cant play there one time fo4 weeak, just need to coose a day for now.

I dont no, plz tell me what do you think.

I can connect to the IRC server with mIRc but i cant join #imperiumgalactica2 for some reason. when i try to connect in game it takes a moment then says unable to connect.

Id love to play a multiplayer game, i used to play this all the time back in the day when it was frist released, and just recently reinstalled it now.

So anybody know whats wrong?

That IRC network is not a very good place for the IG2 room, you will not beable to enter it from in game.

That server does not allow anybody to join a room unless they are registered and have identifed, and you cant do that in the game without first joining a room.

We need to switch to a network that doesn't make you first identify before enting a room, and the room should be called #ig2. That is the default room the ingame will join on connect. I suggest you just use dalnet.

Also do not put any port in the address line in IG2 or ii will not connect.

Join the room #ig2. Insert one of these addresses in your ig2 game and it will connect and work aswell.

This way its no hassle to logon, or identify, or register the channel before we can play.

I'll be waiting on dalnet in #ig2 tonight if a few people want to play.
