I do believe the PC version is $39.99. I'll check next time I go to work...
I see you're planning on 20 spells, as well. I wasn't going to do this, but since you can view other duelists' spellbooks anyway, I might as well... Actually, this is what I was planning. It will have to be refined, because as of now, I have too many creatures, I think...
Black Spells:
1 Liability
BBBB
Liability is an enchantment that deals 1 damage to any duelist whose creature is destroyed.
2 No Mercy
BBBB
No Mercy is an enchantment that destroys any creature that damages you.
3 Vicious Hunger
BBBB
Vicious Hunger deals 2 damage to the closest enemy creature and gives you 2 health.
4 Soul Feast
BBBBBB
Soul Feast drains 4 health from your enemy and gives it to you.
5 Havoc Demon
BBBBBBB
The Havoc Demon is a 5/5 flying creature. When it dies, it causes all creatures to get a -5/-5 penalty until they respawn.
6 Plague Wind
BBBBBBBB
Plague Wind destoys all enemy creatures. They cannot regenerate.
7 Harbinger of Night
BBBB
The Harbinger of Night gives all creatures, including itself, a permanent -1/-1 penalty every 5 seconds.
8 Krovikan Vampire
BBBBB
The Krovikan Vampire is a 3/3 creature. If the Krovikan Vampire destroys a creature, that creature respawns under your control. If you lose control of the Krovikan Vampire, all affected creatures die.
9 Infernal Medusa
BBBBB
The Infernal Medusa is a 2/4 creature who destroys any creature it fights.
10 Juzam Djinn
BBBB
The Juzam Djinn is a 5/5 creature who deals 1 damage to you each time it respawns.
Red Spells:
11 Raging Goblin
R
The Raging Goblin is a 1/1 creature with haste. Creatures with haste move significantly faster than those without.
12 Goblin Hero
RR
The Goblin Hero is a 2/2 creature.
13 Goblin King
RRR
The Goblin King is a 2/2 Lord who gives all Goblins a +1/+1 bonus as long as he lives. This bonus does not apply to the Goblin King himself.
14 Goblin Sky Raider
RRR
The Goblin Sky Raider is a 1/2 flying creature. This creature cannot be attacked by most ground creatures.
15 Gratuitous Violence
RRRRR
Gratuitous Violence is an enchantment that doubles your creatures' power.
16 Volcanic Dragon
RRRRRRR
The Volcanic Dragon is a 4/4 flying creature with haste. Creatures with haste move significantly faster than those without.
17 Insurrection
RRRRRRRR
Insurrection is a spell that causes all creatures to gain haste and attack your opponent until they respawn.
18 Fervor
RRRR
Fervor is an enchantment that gives all your creatures haste. Creatures with haste move significantly faster than those without.
19 Callous Giant
RRRRR
The Callous Giant is a 4/4 creature who cannot be damaged unless that damage is at least 4.
20 Retromancer
RRRR
The Retromancer is a 3/3 creature that deals 3 damage to any duelist who targets it with a sorcery.
Artifacts:
Urza's Armor*
Mox Jet
Mox Ruby
Helm of Awakening
Razor Pendulum
Planar Gate*
Again, this is when I thought each Color warranted 10 spells each. This is just a basic list as of now, and it will be refined when the final game comes out.:)

You mentioned seeing the other players spellbooks - you can view them when playing splitscreen, but I think they will be hidden playing online (if you play the AI in the demo, you can't see what spells are being selected)
So keep those spellbooks secret ;)

Yes, but the top duelists' books are made public online. So, if by any chance I managed to make it into the Top Whatever, everyone could see my Spellbook, anyway...

ummmmmm the juzam Djinn creature forblack is a 4/4 i think and its takes health from the nearest creature and gives it to the caster and i dont think it does 1 damage when it respawns.

4 mana for a creature that powerful is waaay too cheap. I based that Spellbook after the info in this very forum. I'm assuming it's correct. I mean, 4 mana for a creature that deals 5 damage, and gives you health? No one would use anything other than Black/Juzm Djinn books...:D
edit: Looks like you're right. The official site says...
Juzam Djinn - BBBB - Juzam Djinn drains 2 health from the closest enemy creature and gives it to the castor.
Unless it's giving the health to the castor of the creature, I will not be using him. That's just too powerful...

Also, not all of those creatures you list are officially announced - Callous Giant, Infernal Medusa, Havoc Demon, etc. my list (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=329930) contains all the official spells. Not sure where the guy who posted that other list got his info. And yes, their version of the Juzam Djinnn seems too powerful, and I have to wonder why they completely changed the ability from the actual card's. I'm guessing it's a web error, but I'm giving the site's info the benefit of the doubt and leaving it in until I hear otherwise.

It's 5/5 creature that does 1 damage to it's controller at the upkeep time (respawn). That's why it costs only 4 mana. It hurts you to play it. :)

That's the card version, not the Battlegrounds version. Although I hope that turns out to be what it is in Battlegrounds, too. Much better than what the website lists. The one shown on the website is the one he was talking about, by the way.

That card list came from someone who supposedly hacked into the demo, and read the files of what was going to be in the full game. The list came from one of these threads...
edit: It's in the Magic The Gathering thread...:)

Yeah I saw the list, too. "Hacking into the demo disc" just doesn't sound like much of a reliable way to get information about the game. Having said that, the list does seem very accurate. I just prefer to stick to the concrete information, that's all.

Well, that list came out before the official site, and every spell in the list was on the official list. So, I'm believing the list of spells in the first list, but trusting the abilities that are on the the official list...:D

I think some of the potential DLC spells were listed on the magic web site by mistake.
