Hi, I bought RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 yesterday. I installed it just fine with no problems. After it was installed I tried to run it from the start menu and it was saying to "please insert the disk in the D:\ drive" it was. So I opened the drive and took the disk out and closed it then open it again and put it back in. Autorun never came up so I went to My Computer right clicked the D drive and slected auto run. It gave me an error. I don't remember the exact error (I guess I should have written it down). So I decided to try and restart the computer and see if that worked. But it didn't. Auto run came up that time but I got an error message saying "There was an error launching the game" (can see a screneshot here (http://simpleillusions.com/rct2_error_screencap.jpg) if you need too) when I clicked on play.

I read through all the atari support information and nothing worked. I updated my video and sound drivers ( in case you need to know I have Direct X 9. I'm running Windows XP Home on a PIII 933 with 191mb ram. I have a 40X CD-Rom drive and a Intell(R) 82810E Graphics Controller 32 MB video card and an SB Live! sound card). Still get the same error: "There was an error launching the game".

I decided to do a fresh install and here's were the worst problems come in. It WILL NOT uninstall. I tried tounistall using the Uninstall think in the start menu and it's still all there. So I tried going to the Add or Remove Programs screen in the Control Panel and it goes through the whole uninstall process but when it's all done it's all still there. Even if I reboot the computer. Nothing is gone at all. Not the files or the entry in the Add/Remove Programs screen. I tried that quite a few times and all to the same result. It's still there. So I went to Microsofts XP support pages and found an article on how to delete it manually but i can't find it in there... Someone also told me to try and just delete the Infogrames folder (RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is the only game in there) in the program files folder. But it says it can't delete it. And to check and see if the program is runing or being used. I open task manager and it's not being used. I looked in both applications and processes...

What can I do?? I'm so out of options!! I've never ever had this much trouble with a game before and I'm NOT impressed!
