Will there be a gauge in the car for fuel? I think it'd be fun ONLY IN TAKE A RIDE MODE (not missions, please, I don't want to break off a chase to go to a Shell station) to have to go to gas stations to pump gas.

I'm thinking the gas stations are only cosmetic, but I hope that they still work. I like interactable environments. That way you wouldn't run out of gas but you could go to a gas pump and fill er up anyway, I wanted to do that in D2. A lot of things like that should be able to be manipulated, so if you went up to a gas pump and started pumping gas before you hooked it into the car, gas would spill onto the ground and could catch on fire. Also, if you could go pick up phones in phone booths and hear Tanner talking to other people. Also, a little extra could be pay phones ringing (not for missions) and then someone on the other end saying something stupid. Maybe it could even hint at secret places. There would hopefully be plenty of these little meaningless extras, it adds gameplay going around trying to figure out what can be manipulated.

Personally, I would not like this. I think it would just get in the way having to worry about your gas in a chace, even if it was just in Free Ride. I would rather jump out of my car a steal another one than try to find the nearest gas station. I guess it would be cool for a little bit, but I think it would just get annoying...

Which is why I think it shouldn’t be required, just something you can do, it would scare away the arcade gamers if it was that realistic. I would like to be able to use car washes if cars pick up dust in this game.

I like some aspects of simulation, but theres a point where I say, this is a game, not real life, this is supposed to be fun.

Bascially what I like too. There are some exceptions, Crash Bandicoot games, but I mostly don't play any of those games anymore unless I feel like going back to the good ol days.

Well, you wouldn't be in the same car forever. so it would be cool to filler up. hopefully cars will stay like in GTA. and if a hubcap comes off the others will still have them. but anyway, gas pumping is pretty cool. makes it more realistic.

It doesn't really bother me, well, I'm sure it would get on my nerves sometimes, but since other people don't want it, it should just be an animation that does nothing, just so you think you are filling it up, because some people like little details. I admit, I was a little bit dissapointed in D2 when I tried to fill er up, maybe they'll let us this time. Maybe payphones too, with random people answering.
