.... Horizons is now on store shelves.
An interesting development today. I was in a Gamestop here in Austin, Texas(home of way too many gamers) and I heard a manager complaining to a customer about this "stupid Horizons game. Been getting calls all day for a copy and we only have 5 copies in stock and 1 preordered but 20 people want a copy of the game so far(that morning)." - Gamestop Manager.
I thought I would share that bit of info with y'all as today you might not see many people on due to insufficient supply of the retail client and CD keys. What does this mean to you? Potentially a sleeper MMO hit is in the works? Hmmmm.
I don't really know, but hopefully this will cause Star Wars Galaxies to quake in fear as we march towards their subscribers' numbers. Hopefully the servers can hold a 275,000 count load. lol.
BTW: Can someone please provide me with a link for the End of BETA event with screens? I missed it since I was doing "testing" for Xbox Live off the clock and did not notice the e-mail about the BETA ending on Thursday morning until 2:41am CST.
I unfortunately cannot join you since I have much overtime to work and many bills to pay that I haven't been paying while testing and playing the latest games for the past 3 months. Whoops!
