Hero X unable to play on WinXP

Just recently purchased Hero X.

I installed it on my WinXP machine and it appeared to start fine. I created my character and started game play. After I beat the tar out of the guy who comes at me out of the house, I attempted to enter the house.

When I click on the door the whole game locks up. I can't do anything else after that. I actually have to either reboot or shutdown the game. I checked my version of DirectX and it is 8.1.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

Click Start, then RUN.
Type DXDIAG and hit enter.

Can you post what it says on the System tab for the System Information and then post the Display and sound tab info?

An easy way to do this is to Click "save all information" at the bottom and then post the contents of that text file into this thread.

Thanks. Actually for some reason after I rebooted the PC it appeared to work find.
