Flying Body!!!

Hey Guys Look very closly at the explosion at the end of the new trailer (The one with the boats and stuff) and you will see a womans body flying and then when it shows the rubble hit the ground look in the back ground and you will see her land on her back, Now don't get excited but it looks kind of like ragdoll but I don't know, But anyways yeah look to the right on the screen on the explosion and you will see a woman flying. I think it looks GREAT!!

Remember it is the explosion after you see the cop car go off a ramp.

Yeah, I've seen it, looks good. Looks like it could be ragdoll, but I don't think there'll be real time ragdoll in this game, just the same animation for everyone when blowing up in a car, and a same animation for people getting hit by a car. It does look realistic though. The body doesn't look charred though, which is surprising for an explosion that blows a car to bits.

Crap, I uninstalled Real 1 yesterday... :( But speaking of the explosion; the body looks good, but I don't really like how the whole car just falls apart like that... it would be nice if there was some of it left on the original spot where it exploded. I think that's only for special explosions though. Reflections wouldn't be silly enough to make that happen every time you destroy a vehicle in the game, would they?... True Crime had some extremely realistic effects when you blew up the gas tank, and it looked great in slow-motion... seeing it just go up in the air and fall apart in Film Director wouldn't be very fun- unless it were at the end of a mission, where there was a bomb in the car or something.

I hope they asked Reflections or Atari about the different playable characters before they just ut that up there. But, ever since I saw that other guy on the bike in the trailer a while back, I do think there are more playable characters. I wonder if they have different sets of missions, or you just switch from one to another. I wonder if there will be any differences, like different moves they might do, or a different way of kicking.

Like I said I thought I read somewhere that you can play as Tanner and Tobias. I think that fighting in the game would rock. Get some fight simulations on the game plus while your on a motorcycle you should be able to punch and kick like on Road Rash, that would be tight.

Speaking of I think the games jewel case cover, (ya know the one with Tanner sticking his arm out to shoot a gun) shows you that Tanner should or might be able to shoot and cars, while Driving, like True Crime.

Oh yeah, PSgamer, I was gonna say something about the explosions to you. I don't like the way the car just shatters either, especially since when it does shatter, all the pieces look perfectly fine, no damage or anything.

I would rather have it like this:
If the bomb is underneath the car, it makes the car fly up in the air a bit and maybe make some doors fly open (I'm inlucding the trunk and the hood with doors).

If the bombs inside the passenger part, it should blow out the windows and possibly blow open the doors too. It should also push the car down some.

If its inside the engine bay, since it doesn't have a bottom, it should make the car fly up a bit and also the hood should pop open.

And if its inside the trunk, the trunk lid should pop open and the car should be pushed down a bit.

And the explosion should char that area of the car.

I know its too late to do this unless its already been done, but I'm sure I'll love D3 anyway, I probably won't be blowing up too many cars anyway. Well, yes I will.

EDIT: After studying the video, I have come to the conclusion it is not ragdoll. If you watch closely (do it full screen), you'll notice when the car explodes, you can see the person fly up in the air upside down. It looks like they're standing up, upside down, but anyway, all they do while in the air is move their arms around like Frankenstein. Too bad, maybe we'll get ragdoll next time.
