I like the 3... because it's the 3rd Driver game... and it's good to keep the title short. and it's not like any of these other game titles are less annoying... Tony Hawk's Underground just so the letters can spell 'THUG' wow, that's cool... The only problem is what they're going to do with 4. since it will probably be Driver4, it makes Driv3r stand out and look stupid... If the first Driver had been spelled Driv3r, then you could make fun of them for trying to be '1337'... afterall, it is their XBOX and PS2 debut... If they hadn't changed the title, I guarantee you'd see people saying "wouldn't it be interesting if they made that 'e' a '3'?"

I don't think many people would say that, just about every games site or forum where D3 is mentioned, someone brings up the newer, stupider looking name, and yes, I know stupider isn't a word, yet, but more stupid is too dull. Anyway, I'm going to keep calling it Driver 3 (when I type the whole name out), whoever at Atari suggested the name change had probably spent too much time in a chat room or forum with PC gamers.

Thats what they should've done, only change the PC title to DRIV3R to appeal to more PC gamers that play shooters or strategies or sims, and any other boring game a PC gamer would play.

LOL, I don't realy care wether it's Driv3r or Driver 3. i like the new cover of the game, seen on EBGames.Com. It looks awesome.

Who cares about the name, as long as the game is good everythings ok ;)

I like what they did with the name, it indicates it is Driver 3 plus it seems like it is new for the next generation consoles. I also really like the cover art, it really is ART, very creative and it sticks out well. I also like the one page ad design that resembles the emblem on a car, very cool.

When it comes to releasing Driver 4, I think that would be just fine if they spelt it DRIVER 4. They just went with DRIV3R because they had the opportunity to do so. As long as they keep it simple it will always be Driver. Now if they call it DRIVER - 4 on the Floor, or even sillier DRIVER 4' LIFE. Then we have a problem.

Bottom line is so far I like every thing I have seen, The name, graphics, physics, lighting, the cities, it is just HUGE and it is all adding up to gaming ecstasy.

Comes out 2 weeks before my birthday, but I'm not waiting around to ask for it, unless the first chance I get to get the game is my birthday, but since I can drive now, I'll think of something.
