I was accepted via email and advised it was not ready yet and now I noticed it is not in my list any place?

"Subject: Request To Test T3: War of the Machines Accepted! "

They released it without letting the public test it. Which is too bad, it really needed more testing.

I am still interested in trying it out, but I have not seen it in any local stores. I had not checked online sources because I figured it was still pre beta. Thanks for the info.

Ah yes. We had added some people to the T-3 beta, and then... well, I'm not sure exactly what happened to it. Unfortunately, I am not typically privy to why betas are cancelled.

However, I would like to apologize, as I should have sent out a notice about the beta being closed, but we were very overwhelmed with Horizons at the time.

I would guess it didn't go into testing because it wasn't a very good game, and it would have been nearly a loss cause to improve on it any more. Using the BF engine was quite a challenge, as it's a very difficult engine.

Also, I don't think it's much of a problem that a notice wasn't sent out. You were busy, and Atari did announce the demo and the fact the game had gone gold. Most of the members saw this and realized that testing was over.
