I'd like this answered by one of the game devs if possible.

estimated, how well will driv3r run on my pc?

2660Mhz Pentium 4

1024MB PC2700 ram (not hyperx or xms, just regular)

no sound card

ATI Radeon 9600 pro (4Xagp, I cant run it at 8x)

Well, the only info i've seen about the PC version was in the interview matt_jon found...

"HomeLAN - What differences, if any, will there be between the console and PC versions of the game?

Martin Edmondson - They will be pretty similar in terms of game play. Obviously the mouse comes into play for the 1st person on foot sections in interiors and the texture resolution is considerably higher than the PS2 version leading to a more realistic looking environment. A lot of the technology in DRIV3R is fairly advanced anyhow, such as the reflection mapping, shadowing and self shadowing, and this is carried across."

Well, judging from most new PC games, your PC will probably run D3 just fine, I don't know if not having a sound card would cause any problems though.

NFSU's music is always breaking up when I play it, I wonder if the patch on their site fixes it.

Patience my friend...

it does not matter after all... let them first concentrate on the ps2 version... that framerate is ok... the rest will come later
