Do you know one? coues I don't. I knew the Digital Reality's site, but there's no more ig2. I wrote an e-mail them some weeks ago... no answer :(

The question had been raised by many to them in the past so they don't bother answering since then. The rights of the game is in the hands of the publishers, not the developers, so they don't have the right to have a commercial website like ig2 or imperiumgalactica2 to upkeep. The patches can be found elsewhere on the internet, the game does not feature support any more because of the many publisher change so why bother making a website, they say.

I only ask it couse at DigitalReality's page there were downloadable music, and animation's etc.

They still have some things on the DR site I think. But all the other things are gone I think. You can try computer magazine and online news places to look for them.

I would like to know firsthand from people....How much better than IG1 is IG2? I liked the first, so I wanna know if I should get it.

Personally, I think IG2 is the best game ever made, in terms of RTS having a vast amount of options :) It's like Total Annihilation meets Civilization (with a slight show of Sim City). So much variety, so many options, not sure about the plot, I usually spend my time in instant-action custom games...

This page should not only work as a fanpage but also as a IG2 Community Page, where you can register as a member and still active IG2 Online Player today.
The more mebers the page gets, the more known it will become.
i beg all still active ig2 online players to register, so that there will be a list of still active ig2 player on that page.
the Page is not only for IG2 Fans, but also for moo2 and homeworld players. The sense of this page is, to make old games online even today still attractive and top play them as a gaming-community.
I would be very glad if all people in this forum joined the community and to help to make ig2 even today an actual online game! you just have to klick onto "Join/Contact" and fill in some few details about you. You can leave your email adress private to me, so that it will be not shown on the browser
