What are your expectations and opionions on DRIV3R?

I think that DRIV3R will become an instant classic. I like the name change and believe it lets you know that it is part 3 and also signifies that it is new for the next generation of consoles. The box art is simply amazing sticks out with the yellow and the drawing of Tanner driving with gun blazing just SCREAMS what this game is all about.

I can agree with some people, to an extent that DRIVER 2 was kind of a disappointment. It was good, great concept and additions for a sequel but not as fun as the first. I am not sure how long it took for Reflections to develop DRIVER (1999) but 2 came out one year later (2000) and it was a very ambitious project for the PS1 (way to much game being put out in a short time for a console at the end of its life span) DRIV3R has been in development for 4+ years and they (ATARI & Reflections) want it to be everything we expect of it. (Which I do not understand why there may not be multiplayer included. That was an extremely addicting aspect of Driver 2.)

I also believe they Developed Stuntman to test its physics engine, Which was fun, addicting but an unforgiving game.So it did not appeal to all but the hardcore gamer. I am not happy for the delay but it will be a better game because of it, I do not believe they are holding it back just for the sake of advertising. They are just going to advertise the H3LL out of it while Reflections development team works 24/7 to complete every little detail, correct any existing bug, to make sure when Tanner exits his vehicle, it will be part of the game and not some silly looking feature and most of all to make this an unforgettable gaming experience.

DRIV3R is looking simply amazing! Everything about it from the graphics to the lighting, the character models, CG cut scenes, story, the 3 massive, highly detailed cities, & the incredible physics. I just keep wanting more but I know it is going to end somewhere and I for one am psyched more about this game then any other in the past, present and future. (except for DRIVER 4 obviously)
