I've been having major gun lag in ut2003 the past few days and i gotta stop it. when no other players are onscreen it works, but 1 or more make it lag, and sometime it's just muzzle flash and the thing doesnt even shoot, i just dodge till i die. the player movement is pretty smooth, no warping around or anything, just the gun lags obscenely. my ping is generally in the 80-90 range.
I just installed a firewire card that sits right against the video card... dunno if that means anything
here's my specs:
2.8 gig p4
1 gig ram
radeon 9800 128
cable connection- tho it has been pretty slow during the same time as this gun lag...
